Leveraging Collaboration to Accelerate Digital Inclusion

Guatemala is making strides toward digital transformation, but significant infrastructure gaps persist, particularly in rural and underserved communities. Internet penetration remains uneven across regions, and limited broadband access continues to hinder educational opportunities, economic growth, and public service delivery. Yet Guatemala also holds distinct advantages, including a dynamic, youthful population, an emerging tech ecosystem, and a strategic geographic location. With enhanced digital connectivity, these strengths can drive innovation, investment, and inclusive growth.

This session, in collaboration with the Government of Guatemala, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), is designed to accelerate partnerships and solutions that advance the country’s digital agenda.

Partner2Connect is all about collaboration. It is a global platform that builds bridges to solve the most pressing challenges in digital development. At its core, P2C believes that connectivity, inclusion, and innovation grow stronger through partnerships. In the context of the Telecom Connect Summit 2025, this Matchmaking Accelerator session provides a space for honest and strategic exchange. Participants are invited to bring ideas and solutions while government representatives present national strategies and long-term visions. The goal is to spark new alliances and strengthen existing ones in an intimate, results-driven conversation. This is a platform for accelerating connections and surfacing partnerships that may not be immediately obvious.

Please note:

  • This is an in-person event only, and no virtual participation will be available.
